FLIR Thermal Imaging
Reads the temperature difference a leak leaves behind walls and floors, so we can trace the path of the water without demolition to look.
Acoustic correlation
Listens for water escaping a pressurised pipe and triangulates the source - often to within about 10mm.
Tracer gas
A safe gas is introduced into the line and surfaces exactly where the pipe has failed - ideal for slab and underground leaks.
No find, no fee.
If we cannot locate a leak greater than 10 litres per hour, audible, or weeping, there is no charge for the visit. The threshold is defined in writing, so there is never an argument about what counts as a leak. How does leak detection work?
We use non-destructive equipment - acoustic correlators, thermal cameras and tracer gas - to locate a leak without opening walls or breaking concrete just to look. Once the source is pinpointed, we document it, and only the right spot is exposed when the repair happens.
How much does leak detection cost in Perth?
The first hour runs from $395 for a flexible booking up to $695 for same-day urgent, then $220 per hour after that. An Iplex Pro-fit investigation is a fixed $495. No find, no fee applies to every visit.
Do you fix the leak too?
We are detection specialists, so we find and document the leak, then coordinate a licensed repairing plumber - often our parent company Plumbed Right - who returns in a separate visit to carry out the repair. You deal with one team and do not have to chase a second tradie.
